How to set DMX Channels for Legacy fixtures in the MyWAC App - Colorscaping

This system allows you to control legacy static white landscape lighting, seamlessly integrating new technology with existing setups. 

DMX512-A with Advanced Commissioning via MyWAC App:

NOTE: Colorscaping Transformer must be commissioned to the App before starting this process. 

1. Select the from the home screen.
2. Select Settings
3. Select Location Details
4. Select [Location]
5. Select Devices
6. Select [Transformer Device Name]
7. Select DMX Configuration
8. Enable and select Items Advertised
9. Select to address a new fixture
10. Select Zone 2 XXXXXXXXX
    NOTE: All Legacy Lighting products connected to Zone 2 will respond together. 
11. Set the Starting Address
    
12. Save
13. Test dimming capability through preferred 3rd party integration platform. 

DMX Channels: 

• CH1: Intensity: The intensity channel, often also referred to as brightness or dimming, adjusts the overall output of the light. This channel does not alter the color or temperature but simply the amount of light being emitted. It’s essential for setting the overall mood, whether it's brightly lit for security and visibility or dimmed for a subtle, romantic evening glow.
