Which Wall Station should I use with the MyWAC App?

WAC Lighting offers two wall station options designed for different smart lighting platforms. While they may appear similar, they serve distinct systems and applications.

WAC-Mesh Wall Station

The WAC-Mesh Wall Station is designed for WAC Home Lighting products.

• Communicates through the WAC Mesh network

• Requires the WAC Home Gateway

• Integrates with the full WAC Home ecosystem

• Ideal for whole-home smart lighting control

• Ideal for bridging WAC Home Lighting Products and existing WAC Smart Products. 

This wall station is part of the WAC Home platform and is intended for installations that utilize the WAC Gateway for centralized control.

Wi-Fi Wall Station

The Wi-Fi Wall Station was specifically developed for:

• Colorscaping by WAC

• RGBWW and Tunable White Tape Lighting applications

Key differences:

• Connects via Wi-Fi

• Does not require the WAC Home Gateway

• Designed for direct control of compatible color-changing and tunable systems

This option is ideal for projects focused on dynamic color control or outdoor lighting applications without integrating into the WAC Home mesh ecosystem.
