Why Create an Automation?
Automations act as customizable shortcuts that allow you to control multiple fan and lighting settings simultaneously. Just like setting a specific mood with colorscaping, creating an automation is the foundation for:
Schedules: Automatically triggering a specific scene at a certain time. For example, setting the fan to speed 6, the uplight to 50%, and the downlight to 100% every Monday–Friday at 3:00 PM. (Note: You must create an automation first before you can tie it to a schedule).
Wall Station Presets with WAC Home: Assigning perfect environmental scenes to your physical wall station buttons. For example, Button 1 can dim the downlight to 30% and turn the fan off, while Button 2 turns the light off and blasts the fan at 100%. (Note: You will need to create a separate automation for each button).
One-Tap App Controls: Seamlessly launching your favorite fan and light combinations with a single tap inside the app.
