Can I set DMX Channels via an RDM Tool?

Many WAC Lighting products allow for DMX Channels to be set from an RDM Tool. Please the spec sheet of the DMX enabled product for confirmation of RDM Tool compatibility. 

There are many RDM Tools out in the marketplace a popular unit is the DMXcat® Multi Function Test Tool. This type of tool allows any installer to set the DMX Channels for each and all fixtures in a DMX Universe. 

DMXcat Example: 

1. Select RDM Controller from the home screen. 
   
   
   
2. Each fixture within the DMX universe will load along with the current starting address. 
   
   
   
3. Select the fixture and change the DMX Start Address.
   
   
   
4. The fixture will now display the NEW DMX Starting address. 
   
   
   
5. Repeat steps 1-4 for each fixture.
