Will my existing switch or dimmer switch work with my smart fan?

At this time, WAC Smart Fans do not work with 3rd party switches that offer dimming or speed controls settings. The WAC Smart Fan Bluetooth wall control unit is the only compatible in-wall control option for your smart fan.

Your WAC Smart Fan will work by remote control in conjunction with most toggle switches that have "On/Off" functionality and no built-in dimming or speed control settings.

NOTE: Using a switch that has dimming or speed control settings that is not the WAC wall control may cause issues with your smart fan, such as LED flickering, the inability to dim the LED, or your fan not being able to spin properly.
