Control 4

Follow these steps to integrate with a Control4 system:

Step 1a. Commission CSI Controllers.

Commission all connected ILC-xx0/IMC-xx0 and/or DMX "Fixtures" as per Converging Systems’ Quick Start Guides or Full Version Installation Guides (see below for links).

MOST IMPORTANTLY, ASSIGN ALL Zone/Group/Node and Short Alias Names before proceeding to next Step.

• ILC-x00 CONTROLLERS--Download the most recent Converging Systems ILC-xxx Quick Start Guides (under Lighting Controllers/Quick Start Guides) here
• IMC-xxx/CVM motor channels--Download the most recent Converging Systems Motor Installation Guides (under Motor Controllers/Installation Guides) here
• DMX fixtures (within the e-Node/dmx)--Download the most recent Converging Systems DMX Quick Start Guides here and Programming Manuals (under Gateways e-Node/xx) here

Step 1b. Locate/Download applicable C4 drivers.

If you do not have the latest Control4 (Comm and Load) drivers in your system file for Version 3.3.0 or later, go to the Converging Systems website for the latest to download the drivers packet. Alternatively, within Composer (may not be the latest) go to Composer/System Design/Items/Search under Converging Systems (check on-line box).

V 3.3.0 New Information: For Control4 OS 3.3.0 and later, Composer uses one (IP) Comm driver to communicate with the Converging Systems gateway (i.e., e-Node/xxx, CVM, IMC-170 or OEM branding for such) as well as a single load driver (separate driver for each ILC-xxx/lighting or DMX fixture or IMC/CVM motor control channel).

• Drag one SDDP Comm Device (e-Node 2020, or e-Node/dmx) anywhere into your project for each e-Node installed>
• Drag one Load Device Drivers into each room (for each LC-xx0/IMC-100 in the system)
