Crestron Home Platforms

Note: Currently Crestron Home is supported with a Crestron "Platform Driver." However, Crestron is now developing a modification to its S(oftware) D(evelopment) K(it) that will allow the current Platform Driver to be enhanced to become a Crestron Native Driver. This is allowing the family of Converging Systems' lighting controllers to be integrated within the Crestron scene manager. Check back with us on the status of this Crestron development.

Follow these steps to integrate with a Crestron Home system:

Step 1. Commission CSI Controllers

Commission all connected ILC-xx0/IMC-xx0 and/or DMX "Fixtures" as per Converging Systems’ Quick Start Guides or Full Version Installation Guides (see below for links).

MOST IMPORTANTLY, ASSIGN ALL Zone/Group/Node and Short Alias Names before proceeding to next Step.

• ILC-x00 CONTROLLERS--Download the most recent Converging Systems ILC-xxx Quick Start Guides (under Lighting Controllers/Quick Start Guides) here
• DMX fixtures (within the e-Node/dmx)--Download the most recent Converging Systems DMX Quick Start Guides here and Programming Manuals (under Gateways e-Node/xx) here

Step 2. Download Drivers

If you do not have the Converging Systems Intelligent Lighting Controller Platform driver in your project file, search for a "Platform Driver" for Converging Systems within the Crestron Home Setup Software.

Note: Crestron uses one (IP) Platform Driver driver to communicate with each Converging Systems supported gateway (i.e., e-Node/xxx or OEM branding for such) regardless of the number of connected loads (ILC-xxx controllers or DMX fixtures).
