Conversion Instructions:
-
Your S2CP-CP canopy plate will come with 4 kinds of screws, a mounting plate, and 2 decorative plates. We will not be using the pointed wood screws, the Allen key, or the suspended decorative plate.
-
The S2CPS-(F)TRIG will come standard in the suspended configuration. We will need to convert it to the surface configuration for this install. Start by prying off the top cap that covers the Trig.
-
Remove the cable suspension gripper in the center of the Trig.
- Flip the Trig over and remove the bottom cap.
-
Set the Trig aside and move onto the canopy plate. Start by removing the cable gripper from the canopy mounting plate.
-
If using a feed trig (S2CPS-FTRIG), you will want to run the feed wire through the decorative plate and then into the rubberized feed hole on the mounting plate prior to full installation. This will allow you to make your junction box wiring connections before it is covered by the trig.
- Once your wiring is connected; using the medium size, black, countersunk screws provided, attach the mounting plate to your junction box.
-
Using the small countersunk head screws, attach the bulb-shaped-open-center decorative plate to the mounting plate.
-
The trig adapter is going to attach to the mounting plate via 3 screws through the center of the hub. Push the feed wire into the junction box as needed.
-
Use the 3 silver machine screws through the larger triangle of openings in the center of the Hub from the bottom to attach to the 3 supporting holes on the mounting plate.
-
If your NADP adapters are in their correct positions, replace the bottom cap of the Trig.
Your Trig Hub should now be secure. Supplement this by supporting the channels connected to the Trig Hub with their provided instructions and hardware.
