What’s Happening?
If you’re having trouble setting up your fan or logging in, it’s often due to using the wrong app or signing in the wrong way.
Why This Happens
Each fan brand uses its own app, and accounts must be accessed the same way they were originally created.
Using the wrong app or a different login method can prevent access.
Steps to Resolve
1. Make Sure You Have the Right App
Check your fan model and confirm you’re using the correct app:
- WAC Fans → WAC Smart Fan App
- Modern Forms Fans → Modern Forms App
- Schonbek Fans → MySchonbek App
- Modern Forms Elite/WAC Plus Fans → MyWAC App
(Available on both Apple iOS and Android)
2. Check How You Logged In
- If you signed up using Google, Apple, or Facebook, you must use that same button to log in again
- Do not enter your email and password manually if you originally used one of those options
3. Retry Login
- Open the correct app
- Select the same login method you used the first time
- Try signing in again

- Your phone’s installed apps
- Your saved passwords or login options

- Try resetting your password (if using email login)
- Make sure the app is up to date
