What’s Happening?
If your fan is not spinning or responding to controls, it may be due to a firmware issue or a problem with the internal receiver.
Why This Happens
The fan relies on its internal receiver to process commands. If the firmware is outdated or the receiver is damaged, the fan may not start.
Steps to Resolve
1. Perform the Push Test
- Gently push the fan blades by hand to start them spinning
- Ensure that the fan blades move freely
2. Communication
- Immediately press the fan power button on the remote
- If the fan continues spinning on its own → A firmware update is required (complete this using the app)
- If the fan stops → Proceed to the next step
3. Perform a Factory Reset
- Reset the fan using the remote or receiver
- This will restore the fan to default settings and may resolve internal issues
(Refer to your fan’s manual for reset instructions)
4. Test the Fan Again
- Try operating the fan using the remote or app
Helpful Tip
Make sure the fan is receiving steady power and that all connections have been properly installed.
