What’s Happening?
If your fan or light is not responding to the remote or wall control, the control may have lost its connection to the fan.
Why This Happens
The remote or wall control must be paired with the fan to work properly. Power interruptions or resets can sometimes break this connection.
Steps to Resolve
1. Confirm the Remote Has Power
- Press any button on the remote
- Check for a green LED light flicker
- If no light appears, replace the batteries
2. Power Cycle the Fan (Important)
- Turn the fan off at the wall switch or breaker
- Wait about 10–15 seconds
- Turn the fan back on
3. Re-Pair the Remote or Wall Control
- Within 3 minutes of restoring power:
- Press and hold the Fan and Light buttons at the same time
- Hold for about 15 seconds
- Listen for a single beep
- This confirms successful pairing
Helpful Tip
Timing is important—make sure to complete the pairing step within 3 minutes after turning the fan back on.
